Tamkin Foundation is active in the humanitarian field especially responding to natural disasters including droughts and floods that frequently hit parts of Somalia. Over the years, with the support of its partners, Tamkin Foundation has been able to respond to floods and droughts in many regions throughout Somalia including Middle Shabelle, Lower Shabelle, Bari in Puntland, and Mogadishu. Tamkin also provides support to the vulnerable sections of the community during special occasions including Ramadan and Eid festivals. Moreover, the Tamkin Foundation operates Mobile Clinics during emergency situations to provide treatment and medical attention to vulnerable communities in IDP camps as well as in remote and rural locations.
